Yeah for sure, haven't figured that out yet. I see a few potential take down points and where its sectioned off but I'm going to shoot it out of the box first. Ive only cleaned the action and a lot of the surface rust preventative lube, but otherwise I would like to see how it performs as is initially.

I know that the gas system is in the front top handguard like an AK. Otherwise the whole giant aluminum receiver is nothing but the ejection port and bolt/bolt runway. She's a beast that's for sure. Front sight is adjustable so fixed the slight cant and pulled it back further since the pic above it's about 2 in away from the gas system now. Flash hider needed a tweak as well.

The bolt hold open might be give or take with the MK12 mags but they seem to feed fine so far. The OEM mag and a CDaly mag I have seem to work better. Range test will eventually reveal that and likely other things too. God she's ugly...haha

Its a pain in the ass. There is a pin on the rear of the upper receiver that you hammer out. Then you can remove the upper. To get the gas piston out you have to remove the hand guard and its annoying because you can't take it off without removing the front sight. You don't have to fully remove it but the hand guard is metal so it will scratch the barrel. The other thing I didn't like is the gun comes apart in many pieces. Its overly complicated for what it is. The gun however is quite reliable. Mine never jammed and fed everything fine. The bore is high quality as well imo.

Much like a 22lr semi, you only really need to open it up when issues arise due to high round count fouling. The front sight is very easy to remove and install and any scratching of parts together or the barrel is always avoidable. Check the gas system, clean the action, bolt and bore...that's about it...
