So I've got this funky idea boiling in my head for the last several months and I was hoping that someone might help me out a bit.
I'd like to know what the cylinder diameters and lengths for .38's, .357's and .44's are?

Also as a side note, what would one of these in stainless go for? (make and model not important)

Thank you,

Chris

Well I've gotten a few replies and thanks to those that have helped me in my quest.
The reason I state that make and model aren't important is because I was looking to get a used one to make a custom shifter knob for my car.
The entire ride will be very gun themed!

Cylinders

Seeing as you have had a few replies I won`t measure my cylinders. I have a few Blued ones and would be willing to part with one. I realize you stated stainless but I ain`t got stainless. If you are interested at all let me know. S&W show a new price of a cylinder at $126.17, believe me I can go a lot less than that. These are in good shape and have the crane and ejector or will sell without the crane and ejector.

For your info.
