On this first miserable snowfall day of the season, I've been alternating between sizing/lubing bullets (is there anything more soul destroying when you're looking at a bucket holding 1000 rds?) and watching videos on various revolvers, mostly Colt products as I recently acquired a Python (in the mail).
It amazes me how some gun gurus/experts can't count to six! Time and again they snap on an empty chamber. Are modern shooters that out of touch with six guns? Is this some method of proving a gun unloaded that I'm unaware of?
One review was made at a 'coming out' session of the new Colt Python at Gunsite, by a pair of beer bellied good ol' boys and other invited guests.
You'd think that at a such an occasion at a prestigious location, everyone would understand that if you put 6 rds into a revolver cylinder, it only goes "Bang! 6 times!
Another video was a review of several makes and models of speed loaders for the Colt Python. EVERY time he fired, he snapped a 7th time on an empty chamber ...... ?
My rant for the day ..... ;>)
