revolving rifle

I have recieved a 357 barrel 18" and want to put it on eather a Ruby 38 or a taurus 38 I can not find info on how the barrels are held in. both have pins The taurus looks like it is threaded but can not tell on the Ruby. Any help would be great Ken

Not sure about the Ruby but which ever way you go make sure you wear goggles or even better a full face shield, I had the chance a few years ago to use an original revolving Rifle, it threw hot shards and burnt powder straight back into my face. a bit like discharging an old full bore revolver 6 inches in front of your face.

Keep in mind that no matter what you do to the revolver, the resulting firarm will retain its restricted classification.

I have rebarrled a Ruby. The barrel comes of similar to a S&W. Drive out the pin thats through the frame and barrel and un screw the barrel.
