Ok so my rfb as run flawless since I got it. Last 2 range trip I experiance heavy malfonction. The bolt would half of the time jam half way forward. That was on the original mag that came with the gun. Befor those last 2 trip that mag was 100% flawless and thus was my main mag and only one I had those 2 trips.

Here are the pics of the mags anybody espacialy FAL expert can chim in?

A few suggestions.

-Bent feed lips
-Unlubed mag
-Weak mag spring tension
-Dirty magazines
-Different ammo
-Pressure on the magazine while firing? (I have seen some rifles experience malfunctions when the rifle is rested on the magazine during firing... somewhat unlikely with FAL mags though.)

Perhaps it is not even a mag issue? Is the rifle cleaned properly? Can you swap between magazines and have one mag malfunction consistantly while another works flawlessly? If every mag jams the rifle, the rifle is suspect #1, not the mags.

Just a few ideas to help you troubleshoot.

The spring seems to stiff rater then the oposite.
the problem is with one mag
Its the same norinco copper washed ammo
The lips arnt bent
And i am not resting the gun on the mag.

I was thinking to remove the rivet clean with a steel brush and polish were the casing left marks then lube it with? And since we are in canada re pine it:(
