Do all your mags actually drop out when the mag release is pressed or do you need to assist them out?

I have a hard time sometimes actually seating the mag at times too. Mine only came with a 5 round DS metal mag. I am ordering a couple poly mags soon as well. I am used to AR mags that literally fall out when the mag release is used and that seat with next to no effort. It may just be that I am used to AR mag and not the FN style mags.

Of all your mags which is the easiest to seat and release?

Mine came with a 20 round mag 100% drop free. I bought 2 mag, old indien I think. There inch patern so a remouved the front tab so they fitted, they both drop free but dont hold the bolt open.

The 10 and 20 round mags drop out. The 5 rounders don't. The Thermold mags do not drop out either. In the next couple of weeks I might have a source for 20/5 FAL metric mags in Canada for under 40$. I will post when I know for sure.
