The Upland Gun company put the RFM doubles on the map for me. I see Bilozir Fine Guns is an RFM importer and I inquired about having one made/brought in, but I'm hesitant to drop $4k+ on a gun maker who's work I've never seen in person and with a dealer who has mixed reviews (and did not give me a very warm feeling when I inquired). Has anyone got their hands on an RFM shotgun yet?

I have handled a few and actually shot one, they are well made guns.

Never heard of them, had to look them up... Some nice and interesting stuff

I see that Bilozir has one RFM 20 gauge o/u listed on his website with some pictures and it looks like a very nice gun! Under the description it says "Regulated barrels to the same point of aim and spec'd for 40,000 rounds." which I found quite curious.... I'd have expected at least a 40,000 round life expectancy from a $5700 dollar gun and the barrels to be perfectly regulated!

I’ve closely examined that gun, it’s gorgeous. If it met my specs I would have been very tempted to buy it. I’m still considering whether to order a custom RFM side by side, at this time they would be my first choice for something like this. As a matter of fact, I hope to see Will Bilozir today at the Salmon Arm gun show today and discuss this idea in more detail.

Handled a “paradox” sxs with one smooth bore and one rifled barrel at Bilozir booth at Calgary gun show. This model was well made but plainly finished

When I inquired about order the model with paradox rifled bores ( I think it may be more of a full length oval rifling?) the price had gone up quite a lot from that listed on his sight

When I asked about regulation on the slug guns I was told it was done by laser, not sure if this is the norm with modern shotgun makers

For 4-6k I would be looking at something built by CSMC not that RFM guns are of inferior quality paying a lot of money to have gun brought to your door in fees and mark ups . Also I just like American made sxs’s just saying
