I hope this isn't frowned upon but I'm curious on the value and info of a RFN No.9 Lee Enfield Rifle .22 with Parker Hale Sight. The Parker Hale sight is a PH-50.

The barrel and hardware is in excellent shape. Stock is good to very good with sling swivel infront of magazine.

From the info I have found it was made by Parker Hale and used by the Royal Navy and New Zealand cadets.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
Graham

Been one on the equipment exchange for awhile now. Oh and forgot the milsurp mantra " PICS,PICS and more PICS. Kinda of hard to judge without images to compare

Yes indeed. If you want an accurate value on anything, pictures of everything is a necessity. The difference between a $300 gun and $3000 gun could be a couple of small stamps in the metal.

The old guard aren't going to give you a value, it seems upset the apple cart. Best method is to research the firearm on all the retail/collector sites and extrapolate your own price. If you price it too high and don't want to lower it. Take it off the market and give the rifle some love at home.

YMMV

Very nice. That PH5C alone is worth about $200-$250. It appears all original, and with all original No. 4s fetching $600 and up, I don't think you would have trouble valuing this somewhat to much higher. My guess $700 to $1000, maybe more or maybe less. Very nice rifle either way.
