Rhineland 22 1st or 2nd Generation?

I have a Rhineland 22 that I may be selling and the buyer wants to know if it's 1st or 2nd generation. How do you tell one from the other, as I'm the second owner, and have no paper work with it.

Does it work flawlessly? Chances are it's second. There are actually a few varations..not just two.
