Rhineland Arms SKS stock released!!

That stock has the same problem the ATI Draganov has; it's not allowing the receiver cover to come off without unbeding the rifle. It looks good but it makes a lot more work every time you go shooting.

Read about "#1" problem on the first stock listed in the link.

I initially got really stoked abou the Subzero stock, but alas, it will still only be a .22 To have a gun configured like that in 9mm...now that would be nice.

I wondered about legality. Perhaps the 10/22 would have to be restricted.

Do you remove the cover each time you shoot it? If so, why?

I clean my guns after every shoot and in order to properly clean the SKS you should remove the receiver cover. Unfortunatelly it needs to slide backwards to come out; having something right behind it won't allow it to come off with the stock still on.

Why in the hell don't these stock designers think of this stuff?
