Rhineland R22

3rd Time Out

R22 is getting less jams. Mine likes the Fed. Game Shock with two ejection problems out of 30 rounds. Also, seems o.k. with Fed. Bulk 36 gr. - 3 out of 30. Finally dialed in the scope for 20 meters, and it's punching the bulleye pretty much every time.

So, I think next weekend, it's out to the 100m range with a tool box full of ammo and really break it in.
 
Problems

1) failed ejector 2) failed bolt 3) cracked mag well. Which is the correct answer? 1 or 2 or 3 or all of the above. If you picked all of the above, you win, or in this case lose....an investment of over $900 now into a piece of metal that doesn't work.

Want my coin back. Will be nice for awhile, and then it's time to go legal. Anyone else feel the same way? Let me know

I would not be making such "threats" on a public board. Take your beef up with TSE and/or Rhineland in private.I have bought a lot of toys from TSE (saving the PST and the like) and whenever I have had an issue, it was always sorted out, but then I never made legal threats before.

If it were me, once you threw down the "legal" gauntlet, I would personally tell you to go to hell... But thats just me because I'm a cranky old guy.

I too am waiting for a new bolt and given this festive season, I am willing to cut Thomas at Rhineland some slack. I will however, be looking forward to seeing some progress come January.
