Hi
I had this under the Exchange section and a CGN member emailed me and told me that I'll get a better response here:

I'm thinking about selling my Kommando Arms LDP. I haven't seen any up for sale on CGN site (the limited research I've done indicates only about 200-250 were brought into Canada) and am looking for opinions on price. First off the basics
It is a 9mm semi auto SMG-style (its listed as a carbine so its just restricted not prohibited). Its an open bolt operation, about 18 inches with the wire stock folded and uses standard Uzi clips. Here's a link for a picture http://images.wikia.com/guns/images/5/53/Kommando.jpg. My Kommando is in fair to good condition depending on your rating scale. The last time I shot it was in the early 90s and it is about what you would expect from an open bolt 9mm. I'll have some pictures posted by this weekend.

Any input would be appreciated.

Not being familiar with the gun, I am curious about it being registed as a "Carbine" not a "Commercial Version", did it leave the factory originally as a semi auto or full auto? Was it marked semi by the factory?

The reason I ask is to understand if it could ever get reclassified as converted auto/prohib and confiscated by the power that be if was determined that it has ever been FA at one point.

Yup, commercial semi-auto version. There are a few of them kicking around, they come up every once in a while for sale. Usually get 800-1000$.
