RIA MAP 1 FS Tanfoglio 9mm

I found this pistol on Frontier Firearms website. It's made by Armscor/Rock Island Armory with a price tag of$629.95. Looks nice.

Why not a real CZ for nearly the same price?

It's not really a fake CZ. Some of the internal operations and grip shape are different. It's a Tanfoglio. Looks like a Combat Sport with a slide from an L. If you look at the internals they are a bit different than CZ. You can definately see the CZ in its design, but there are many changes.

I agree that it seems overpriced, Tanfoglio branded Tanfoglios are cheaper for the exact same gun.

I do not get it either. I own more than one Tanfoglio and love them, they are one of the best keep secrets, excellent price, excellent gun. This one is only assembled by RIA not made by them. However, I bought my Tanfoglio combat for $550 so why would I spend more on this?
