RIA trigger guards,What metal are they made of?

So in a quandry here. Any one know what metal a RIA 10/22 trigger guard assm is made of? Building up a 10/22 and need a satin finish or polished aluminum or steel trigger guard for it. Other option is to buy a $100.00 stainless one and then build it from there with other parts..thoughts...suggestions...good cookie recipies????

Some kind of aluminum alloy.....could be stripped and polished

i just picked up a couple of them and what Hitzy said is bang on, some flavor of aluminum aloy.
ive chipped the paint off in spots already and its some mix of aluminum under there.
