Who remembers if it was Richard Starnes (or ?) who lost a son in the war in Vietnam?
I remember reading a stirring editorial in Field & Stream, I believe it was. I still remember the feeling of sadness that came over me as I read that piece back in the 60's.
Or was it another regular writer in one of the old time outdoor magazines?
