Girsan Yavuz 16 pistol is a relatively recent development of Turkish Yavuz company. Its basic variant, Yavuz 16 Regard, is closely patterned after famous Italian Beretta 92FS pistol, although it is also available in several visually different versions. Yavuz 16 pistol has passed official Turkish military trials and is in use with certain elements of Turkish armed forces and police.Also Yavuz 16 pistol is short recoil operated, locked breech pistol that uses Walther P38-type vertically tilting locking piece to lock the barrel and slide.
