Riddle me this model 12 or 25 Winchester Gurus

Its an S shaped action bar…..

“ In an attempt to reduce costs and smooth up the Model Twelve action when new, a stamped operating rod was used in the early 1950 period. An "S" shaped operating rod indicates a stamped rod. While operating rods of this shape worked at the factory, in outside use recoil would cause the action slide to override the action slide spring and to lock the action. This could also happen when the slide action was forced. If an action locks due to the stamped "S" shaped or "Dog Leg" bar, it is necessary to hold the forend and strike the butt on the ground. This action will release the slide and enable the fired shell to release. In addition to the Dog Leg shape of the slide rod, stamped rods have a beveled step while machined rods have a distinct step, located about one and one half inches from the end of the rod. Because of the numerous complaints due to the Dog Leg slide rods, Winchester dropped them and offered to replace all of these rods with the old stye straight rods. About 12,000 Dog Leg operating rods left the factory), and most of these have now been replaced.”
