Ridgedale is a nice range and very well looked after by the on-site caretaker.
Maximum rifle range is a bit over 180 yds beside a 100 yd rifle range.

Close to town, during the week you're often alone, you can load your rifle magazine to the legal limit, no steel targets allowed but other types of targets are allowed - just clean up afterwards, friendly crowd, very few Fudds. It's often rented to LEOs so you have to check the website. Even when it's rented to LEOs there's usually one range still free to shoot at.

I am currently abroad but will be back home the last week of May and can show you around then if you haven't made it out.
