Rifle bags

5.11 has a nice rifle bag, a little on the expensive side but very well made.

I use a 511 bag, it won't fit a 55" rifle though. Might post it in the ee as I've switched to all hard cases. It fits everything I need for a day at the range

The more stuff you carry in one bag, the heavier it will be. I find I have a bag for the rifle, cleaning rod and a few tools. Another bag for the jacket, hat, mitt and spotting scope. A third bag for the shooting mat, rain suit, snack, and ammo. A maybe a tool box for the just in case things that seem to accumulate with this game.

I run an eberlestock G4 operator. Amazing quality, fit, finish, function and comfort. I wont hesitate on buying another one of their fine products. I'll add some pictures tomorrow at work.

I ended up getting one off of ebay because all of the Canadian suppliers were out of stock, or didn't have the colour I wanted.

It took usual ebay times, around 2 weeks.

That model is pricey, but for the MASSIVE capacity, it's worth it. I may pick up a gun slinger 2 for range duty.

Here's a thread with some pictures. h ttp://www.mossbergowners.com/viewtopic.php?f=95&t=3319
I can't remember if you are allowed to hotlink to topics in other forums

I don't mean to knock that retailer, but I think I remember seeing the gs2's for in the mid 200 range.

Regardless, I'm sure you'll love it! Eberlestock is all I'll be buying!

Hey,
You might want to check out marksmansupplies.com for a rifle bag. Nothing too fancy, but very very well built by a fellow CGN'er. I have a scabbard from him for my winchester and think its great. Will likely be looking his way for a drag bag or target rifle bag in the very near future......
