Well I have 2 rifles that I would like to change the bolt knob on. One is a Savage model 12 BVSS .223 that is used for bench rest target shooting. The other one that I got today is a Remington 5R mil-spec in .308. The Savage looks pretty crude and the Rem is a little on the small side.

Anyone recommend a nice looking bolt knob that looks good, the Rem will be used mostly prone shooting at gongs at distance.
Any ideas or pics of your bolt handles much appreciated. Cheers Roscoe

Badger bolt know are the best, it what every body try to copy, check out Brownell gun part, they do send them up here!

I bought mine from Jerry at Mysic Precision. Terry from Black Art Rifle installed it. I sent it to Terry and they worked out the rest. :D

Have a look at Bill Hawks knobs at boltknobsbybill.com

He does excellent work and will build something to specific requests as well. Then just need to find someone to install it.

Badger Ordnance is by far the best bolt knob around. Ordered it from brownells & had ellwood epps instal. 3 week turn around & around the $60 mark.

For those who prefer a smaller, lighter bolt knob... this is one from Defensive Edge... a threaded on aluminum knob.

The bolt handle was shaped as well...

Mine will be here this morning. Got the whole handle and knob for the Savage and had the EGW knob fitted on my Rem 5R. Got them from Mystic and work by Terry at B.A.R.C
should be here in about an hour(Xmas) Cheers Roscoe
