Hey guys. I wasn't sure where to ask this but I thought you all would be able to point me in the right direction. I just got a Remington SPS Tactical with Harris 6"-9" bipod and a Bushnell 10x40 scope on it. It won't fit in the one rifle case I have. Any suggestions?

take the largest baddest mother f'in case available, that's what I did. They call it a double rifle case, its a plastic one, very large, not very sturdy, 34,99$ @ SAIL when I got it

EDIT: took a pic of it, Hell I even fit my cleaning kit so I can be set for a long day at the range :)
The case is a Doksports

That's a one rifle case, I don't know which rifle it was designed for though, anything scoped will not fit this, including my Savage MK II LOL. I use it for my shotgun

No matter how long you look at this pic, the rifle will never fit.

I use a Plano Air Glide. Pretty please for amount invested.

Although I would love a 1750. But that costs more than 500 SMKs.

Cabelas sells their green canvas soft case (with nice leather trim) for scoped rifles with bipods. I have one ... good price and classy.

I imagine the problem your really having is with the depth of the case.

My first cheapy case was all of 2" deep. Large scope turrets or even just the bolt of most rifles would make the plastic bow outward once closed.

My latest case is by MTM, it has some fancy pillar system to enhance the structure. Its a good 6" deep. Plenty of space for a remmy 5R Milspec with an NXS ontop.

However, I am really liking the looks of a pelican now.

I love my pelican, except for the weight. At 20 pounds empty, Add an M14 with the JAE stock, scope, handgun, bipod, magazines and you are close to 40 pounds. The other thing is it JUST fits in my Volkswagon golf with the seats down. Add 4 or five more guns, a shooting bag and a 100 pound Alaskan Malamute to round things off. If it was 2 inches longer it would be on the roof rack:D. Unfortunately the truck had to go when I hit $250 a week for gas (about 5 years ago).
