Rifle Case recomendations?

I am looking for a case to transport my Remington 40x to and from the range and was wondering what everyone had for suggestions.

I won a kolpin scoped soft rifle case 6 years ago at an NWTF dinner and find it to be the best all around soft cases i have seen. They are rugged and well padded which offers a great deal of protection and are very well constructed. I used to use hard cases for going to the range but you can carry several soft ones in the same hand as you can one hard case.

I'm quite happy with the 42" soft cases I got from LA Police Gear (I won't post a link, but google it). $34US is hard to beat too!

I use hard cases for all of my guns, as they provide the best protection possible.

Hard cases for scoped rifles. It's not a durability thing, but I don't want the scopes knocked out of zero. I have a couple of cheap double cases from Canadian Tire, when they wear out (and they're proving unfortunately reliable) then they'll be replaced with Pelican cases.

I don't mind a soft case for my shotguns, but the only soft cases I have are too short for them.

i got alot of soft cases. and one expencive hard case. thats ware the pretty guns go when they come out.
