The Rifle Shoot at Oxford Fish and Game is back again this year with the first of three of these events happening this Saturday May 18th at 12:00pm noon on the rifle range at Oxford Fish and Game 545324 Pattullo Ave. Woodstock Ontario. Our Rifle Shoots are designed to be accessible to everyone by keeping it simple enough for novice shooters just getting into the sport while still keeping it challenging enough for the more experienced shooters. You can shoot any rifle in any caliber you can legally use and our shoots have been generously sponsored by our friends at Vortex Canada that have provided an amazing array of prizes for our draws and door prizes.
An explanation of our shoots are as follows:
Cost will be $5 per rifle for each match, shoot up to 5 rifles in as many matches as you would like, but each rifle/shooter combination can only compete in each match once. There are 5 different matches to choose from and each will require a minimum of 20 rounds of ammunition (bring more).
The matches will be as follows:
Precision Rifle Match
Accurate Rifles with high power optical sights will be required to engage an array of small targets all at 100 yards. Shots will be taken from the shooting benches and rifles can be supported by any rests that can be easily fielded (bipods, bags, etc. no bench rests/ lead sleds please).
