I have a rem 700 bdl dm coming on trade. Cal is .270 rifle is 2 years old. Maybe 75 rds through it tops. Pretty nice shape. Has two mags. Looking for a value? I was thinking around $700 shipped. Gonna sell or trade it as I don't need it anyway. Typical gunnut I know:eek: Thanks for the help fellas!

Dave.

Most firearms alone (without scope) are worth approxomatly 60% of new price. my 2 year old BDL in 222 was appraised at $550 bare.

Blue Book values mean nothing here. Plus they're at least two years out of date and reflect an average of prices across the U.S. only.

You asked for it :D
MSRP $693 USD, 100 % $560 USD , 98% $455 USD , blue book value 1 mag :runaway:
Oh this was taken from 22nd edition 2001

I have the 2006 book....not much has changed. ...........

Actually, if you bring your gun into a shop in Edmonton, most use the blue book to decide what you will get (altered for Cdn funds).......FYI.

Well i got to say, if I were in the market for a 700, I'd skip the wood, and go SPS. For $520 in clip form new, I'd tell you to keep the wood. Stay competitive with them, and then your looking fair trade.

Not to mention often you can pick up the wood off the EE in the $75 - $100 area, so you now have the benefit of the rifle & two stocks and you're still into it cheaper than the BDL version new.
