Rifled choke tubes?

I've used a rifled remchoke with BRI type sabots and used to get 3" groups at 100yards. I've now got a fully rifled barrel but have not had a chance to try it out and see how it does.

Rifled choke tubes allow you to shoot some of the slower sabots without them tumbling.
Accuracy is slightly better with a rifled tube than with most smoothbore barrels using rifled slugs.
Generally rifled tubes will not be very accurate with the new high velocity sabots over 1500fps... get a rifled barrel if you want to shoot accurately past 100 yards.

What about the use of Foster slugs or Brennekes w/rifled choke tube :?:
I don't think the Brennekes need any spin to stabilize; they make use of an integral wad that acts as the fletching on an arrow. As for Fosters, they are usually a 50 meter option but one of my friends shoot them to 100 yrds with a 870 equipped with a smoothbore slug barrel topped with a scope and he has no problem staying in the 6" bullseye. Maybe a little spin could help a bit more, I just don't know...
PP. :)

I recently purchased a rifled choke tube ($60) for my Winchester pump which is equipped with a red-dot scope. I have been at the range several times testing various sabot slugs. I am not pleased. Accuracy is poor. I recommend saving for a rifled barrel.
