Rifled choke

Hey guys,

I have a supernova and I want to shoot slugs atleast 100yards with fairly consistent accuracy. What I want is a rifled barrel but that's pricey. Does anyone have experience with rifled chokes instead of barrels? I just heard about rifled chokes yesterday. What sort of accuracy can one expect? Any recommendations on another way to achieve good slug accuracy?

Had a friend use a rifled tube in an 1187 12ga he had good luck to 100yrds with Remington buck hammer slugs if you can still find any? I would think a slug like a challenger with the wad attached would shoot fairly well from a rifled tube?
Only way to know is to spend some $ and endure a sore shoulder to be certain!

They work well. Briley and Carlson's sell them among others. Fyi your slug will be more consistent with its point of impact but likely lower on target. The rifling can slow the slug so you get more drop then you do out of a smooth bore with cylinder constriction. Expect some drop.
