I have a Benelli SBEII and have a rifled slug barrel for it topped with a leupold grand slam scope. I had been testing a lot of different slugs this year to find what gave me the best accuracy. I settled on the Remington Premiere core lokt ultra sabot slugs - I was getting under a 6 inch group at 200 yards and reports from others said they got better e pension at close range then the Hornady sabots.
However, one thing I noticed is that after firing 3-4 slugs I needed to clean my barrel to remove the plastic residue or my groups began to widen up. Took me a while to figure out why I was getting flyers but a hunting guide mentioned to me and it does make a difference
Ps. Today I nailed a 10 point buck at 200 yards with it - lung shot with the slug exiting the other side - he went 30 yards and dropped. Lungs had a hole 3x the diameter of the slug
