Rifled slug gun

I was wondering if there is a good quality rifled slug gun a guy could buy for around the $400.00 mark?Wanted something for deer hunting up to 100 yrds.

Mossberg 500 combo with the 24'' rifle sight smooth bore barrel. I took my first deer with the 28'' VR barrel IC choke using a 2 3/4'' Federal Tru-Ball 1 oz slug at 20 yards.

Mossberg 535 package. Comes with two or three barrels.

Remington 870. Mine came with both and is 20 gauge. great little gun.

A used savage 210 bolt action might go for $400. Hnr/nef have their ultra slug hunters. I hear good things about them but they're heavy. Personally I use my mossberg 535ats with a 24" slug barrel. Very accurate

Mossberg 500 or 535 combo. Great little guns. You can also find used ones for 250 bucks on the EE.

Thanks guys!Been reading up on the 535,sweet price for the combo's.For the guys who own them,how accurate is accurate with the slugs?(75yrd wise).

Rifled slugs out of my Mossberg 500 28'' VR smooth bore IC choke. You need to get some brands and pattern to find out what your gun likes.

Result is I went with the Federal Tru-Ball 1 oz slug and got this doe at 20-25 yards:

I can group 2" center to center 3 shot offhand group at 50 yards with my 535 24"rifle barrel with fiber optic front bead. Off a rest I can get 2-3" groups at 100yards using brenneke gold 600gr slugs and rio star brenneke style slugs

Thanks again guys!It looks like one does not have to spend a grand to get a good versatile hunting setup.That accuracy looks mighty fine for me.
