Could I shoot a shotgun slug "rifled" out of a modified choke tube without any concerns?

( I have a Remington 870 express12 gauge)

If you did it at a skeet/trap/sporting clays range you'd have concerns ranging from being ordered off the property to being arrested and charged.;)

The Hunting and Sporting Shotguns forum is probably the best place for the question.

You may shoot a "rifled or foster" slug through a modified choke, however you would have better results with an improved cylinder or cylinder bore. For future reference though, questions likes these are best left to the hunting and sporting shotgun forum as Claybuster pointed out.
