Hi, since no manufacturer makes a 20 gauge bolt action with fully rifled barrel, I was pondering building one. Well with the help of a Gunsmith of course. I have a few questions to see if this is even feasible.
1. If building of an older Mossberg or Savage is it possible to have the barrel back bored to introduce the required rifling?
2. If the barrel does not have the diameter to introduce the rifling, can I get a barrel made to fit the older Mossberg or Savage receiver?
3. What Gunsmith could help me with such a project?
4. (Big one) What is this going to cost me? Either the back bore or a brand new barrel?
