Hey everyone just passing on the savings so everyone can get some if they want.

The Canadian Tire in Langley, B.C. has S&B 22LR SB Standard Velocity 40 Grain Lead Round Nose Flat Head ammunition on sale for $2.84 cents/50 Rounds instead of regular price of just under $6 each!!!

Apparently there is something like 1800 boxes or so available according to guy at the counter.

Got 400 rounds for $25.45 and scored a savings of $22.80!

Standard velocity is great for all the bolt actions and the less picky semi automatics so enjoy the savings!!!!!

Wow great deal! Wonder if they are putting them on sale in Ontario as well. Do you have the sku or product number? May try calling a few Canadian tires out this way to see if any have them on sale
 
SKU is 093-2970-6.

The store I went to said it was just sold so it may be just that location but give it a try anywhere.
 
There was none at the South Surrey CT so I went to Langley and they had some.

I hope it is decently accurate for target shooting at 50 and 100 yards out of my CZ455 because I bought a 1000 rounds.
 
It's good ammo at that price. I believe it's only wax coated. Works great in bolt action. Find after some use it can start causing issues with residue build up but a very accurate standard velocity round.
