Hi guys, I've been shooting my CZ 452 for a while now and I think that I want to put a scope on it but am not sure how much affect parallax will have on my scope choice.
Using the iron sights I am alright shooting 25-50 yards but the reason I wanted to get a scope is so that I could start shooting out to 100 yards - I have trouble focusing with the notch and post that far on a small targets and find it difficult to see.
I see that most rimfire scopes seem to have parallax adjusted to 50 yards but I would still like to shoot anywhere from the 25-100 yard range (if possible), but don't understand what type of scope/parallax adjustment I should be looking at. It seems like I would either get a scope with a 50 or 100 yard adjustment or get a scope with an adjustable objective which seems a little more costly.
Is that large or a range realistic with a scope and a rimfire and what type of scope would you suggest?
Also, with regards to magnification would something like a 3-9 be enough?
Thanks.
