What kind of fun shoots do you guy's have at your indoor clubs. I'm looking for ideas. The club lost it's action shooting qualifications a short time ago until we make some changes. So I'm looking to try something new.

BGC may be starting up a mini-gun match again if there is enough continuing demand. Think IPSC with rimfire rifles.

We just had a "any rimfire rifle, any sites" fun-shoot at BRRC. The shoot was done over six stations, with forced mag changes against a clock. It was IPSC-like, but no movement, and you could only reload between stages. Best three times for bolt and semi were awarded 1st, 2nd, 3rd prizes.

Shooter starts at the port, charged mag out, action open. Clock starts when timer yells fire. Shooter inserts loaded first mag and chambers a round. Clock stops when shooter removes 2nd mag. Clock stays stopped when shooter moved between stations; recharges mags etc.

Stage 1, Gopher "shoot-N-See", 5 yards, 15 rounds (loaded 5/10 forced change) 2-sec penalty for each shot not on the gopher. (5 yards frigs-up everyone, its outside most scope's AO settings)

Stage 2, Pistol bullseye, 10 yards, 10 rounds (5/5 fored change), 2-sec penalty for every shot not in the black.

Stage 3, 5 falling metal plates, 25 yards, up to 10 rounds (5/5), 2-sec penalty for any plate standing

Stage 4, 8-paddle target tree, sitting, 35 yards, up to 10 rounds (5/5), 5 sec penalty for each paddle not hit.

Stage 5, 5 swinging clay targets, up to 10 rounds, (5/5) 2-sec penalty for any clay left whole

Stage 6, PPC-type target, 20 yards, 20 rounds (10/10) 2-sec penalty for any shot not on black.

Winning semi-auto time was 75 shots in aprox 90 seconds. Third place time was 139 sec:redface:

Can't remember what the winning bolt-action time was, something less than 200 seconds I recall.

A couple of BRRC CGN's came out to play, hopefully they will chip in with feedback. We ran about 30 people through two identical courses.

It's the kingsville club. We haven't been able to shoot steal for quite some time also. It's a great club, and good members, i'm just waiting until we can start shooting idpa or such again, so I'm looking for course of fire or something different we can try until then. I'm kind of intereted in some of the sniper shoots I've reading about on the internet.

try an egg shoot with .22s ive been wanting to do one for a while. you can see about 150-200 yards. i watched a show filmed in the states and they were hitting the eggs out to 1000 yards with .50's, it looked fun
