Hi Jeff,
You are probably talking about the Gaulin brothers, from Armtech Canada. They are specialized in centerfire actions but they built a couple of rimfire actions years ago. If memory serves me well, they were right hand, left port. They used Remington or Jewell triggers. I used to shoot BR matchs against a guy who owned one and it was extremely competitive.
