What is the biggest mag. you can get for a rimfire legally. I heard there is no limit, if that's true than whats the biggest I can find.
 
There is no limit on unrestricted rimfires.
50 is the biggest commercially available ones.
and they are all for the Ruger 10/22

Ramline double stack
MGW tear drop
Pro Mag drum

and they are all crap
 
i believe a pistol would still have the limit of 10rds. But for rifles it's whatever you can find like Ronin said.
 
here we go again with these dangerous questions... These are beyond newbie questions.. and they are so frequent... so me pics of the smallest guns and prohibs and now what's the max....

Good lord who is this guy and why doesn't he just read... the limits for RF capacity are clearly listed in the regs and covered when you take the course....

Sounds like a fact finding mission on this guys part....
 
If rimfires are ever subjected to a mag. capacity law, I'm giving up on Canada. It would be past the point of total illogical fear into the realm of California.
 
Have you guys checked out mr.goodguys other posts?
they are all asking the same kind of things
smallest hangun,shotgun,largest mag capacity
strikes me as a little strange
am I the only one ?

Why don't you just ask for a complete list of things that have somehow escaped the stupid laws or are right on the edge. That way you could compile it all faster, as you wouldn't have to start so many threads.

i agree. can we ban him? he's probably one of Miller's stooges, sent to ferret out any questionable stuff, so that it can be instantly banned.

it's one thing to honestly not know, and to actually want to learn, but he seems to be pushing the limits and trying to figure out what's almost illegal.

i bet he's part of the Guns and Gangs taskforce. if that's true, scram buddy. we don't need your kind here.

but if he truly doesn't know, somebody meet up with him, put a gun in his hands, and start teaching him about our awesome sport.

X2. I can't believe people are still taking the bait.

However, if he was one of Miller's stooges, he would probably already know what is and isn't legal.

I suspect a young student doing a summer project on gun laws, or a journalist trying to compile as much evidence as possible from the horse's mouth. "Look! See the firepower that these people have, and how they are just narrowly being missed by the law!"
 
Not like he couldn't find the info right from the CFC.
Not asking anything illegal so what's the harm?

Ronin, dear boy, we've got camo 10/22's - not always "in sight"...;):);)

New point (related, so not a "hijack"):

Ruger Charger pistol...permitted to have 10/22 mags b/c of an inverse of the LAR-15 situation. Just saying...or was this something we were all collectively going to stay "mum" on? ;)
