Past few months I was mulling the idea of building a PRS gun, but then reality set in.... I really enjoy F Class shooting in Nokomis and want to keep that as my primary focus.
The cost of ammo for practice and matches in FTR eats up most of my annual ammunition budget (for all types of shooting I do).... and I don't need the additional cost of reloading for 6.5 Creed, or 6.5x47 Lapua, or 6 Dasher (or whatever) over and above what I am currently spending on my 308 FTR gun!

I was thinking of liquidating some stuff to build a decent 10/22 Volquartsen that I have been putting off for a couple of years.
So now I am thinking of branching out into Rimfire PRS.
Maybe, test it out and see how I like this type of shooting discipline in a gun that I was planning on building anyways... and the bonus is that the tippy top 22 lr ammo is still a hell of a lot cheaper than reloaded ammo with cheap components of anything in centerfire.

It seems there are a fair number of regular PRS guys that practice at the Regina Wildlife Range by Pilot Butte.

So, is there an active Rimfire PRS league in Saskatchewan ?

Better still is there an active league (or range) in Rimfire PRS close to Regina ?

I hear yeah on the price of things. I was going to load up some of those 200 MKs and they are 80 bucks now. Ouch. Thats another reason I like shooting my 223 so much. :)

I know that they do some rimfire prs match stuff up in Stoon once or twice a year.

We try to practice 3-4 times a week in Saskatoon.
