good enought for a beginner?

had a cadex and another one years ago and quite expensive now

just looking for something better than a Harris for the range and country property

not sure I am good enought to know the difference and if I go to a match it will be for,fun

just don’t want to buy crap but don’t want to spend an arm and a leg

thoughts

I think users are reporting it's definitely a good piece. It does what it claims to and does it well.
My only reservation for use on country property, as you mention, is that it doesn't extend very long. So check the max height spec and compare with some other bipods.

I've used the Grndpod a bunch and it's definitely a nice bipod. None of the "bells and whistles" of a Ckyepod but a very stable, simple, easy to use bipod. I like it better than a Harris or a Magpul for sure.

It's light and strong and does what a bipod should. A PRS rifle should have an Arca rail on the bottom already and then take that version of the Grnd Pod.

bought one from go big tactical a sponsor

they also had a adapter for the other bipod Ihave but it was almost the same price as the mdt so I will use it and decide later if the adapter on the Harris might be as good

thanks for the help

Looking forward to your upadate
I am getting by witha Caldwell like Harris, seems goodenough but interestedd in what you find
swivel with an anti-cant level is as important imo

I looked at one in the store, seemed like it had play in it. How do you all find the stability of it? Seemed like my Harris is more solid.
