First off - Thanks to everyone running these matches.

Started to build 2 guns with the grandson, for some rimfire matches.
We were out practicing over the holidays.
Glad we stuck with Ruger 10/22s

Son and I now want to do the sniper series. Maybe even the 2 day.

Then found out there are all these series being run.
Looks like you might need 3 different guns. lol

CPRS - Canadian Rimfire Precision Series

CPRS - X22 Challenge

CPRS - Team Challenge

CPRS - Sniper Series

ORPS - Outlaw Rimfire Precision Series

CRRS - Canadian Rimfire Racegun Series

NRS - Northern Rimfire Series

The CRPS normal matches are the standard PRS type events. The team challenge is shot at the normal matches, only difference is you and three buddies are scored together. The Sniper matches are a little different, and feature blind stages with unmarked and/or un-ranged targets. ORPS is similar to the normal CRPS matches, only 1 day and shorter distances. Only the X22 and Raceguns require a separate rifle, the rest can be shot with just 1 setup.

If your custom 10/22 is accurate enough some shooters use them effectively in the CRPS matches. Will have to see if anyone dies so in the sniper matches.

You forgot Northern Rimfire Series!

Thanks

Just waiting on KRG Bravo for the 10/22

What’s really cool about all this fun is that you could literally shoot rimfire matches around Ontario every weekend. My wife would shoot me with my own 10/22. Ha ha hah a

We are so lucky to have all kinds of efforts hosted by the Match Directors. It’s All Good!

Hope to see lots and lots of you at the matches!

What a super community we have!!

Cheers

Peace Be To Journey!

That is very true. Hopefully at some point in the future there will be a similar volume in the B.C./western AB area too.
