Rimfire Steel Challenge in Kelowna

There is no cost. I have enough stands/targets and range area to set up one stage at a time. We shoot that for a while and then set up another stage if we feel like it. If enough people show up regularly we could look at scoring/ratings etc but right now it is just for bragging rights per stage and FUN. I want to maybe go to the Canadian Championships in AB so I need practice plus I would like to get other people interested in this game. I have no interest in making this some clubs event, I'm just shooting with a few friends and we would like to share the experience.

TEG just posted a couple of 2.5 second passes on Pendulum on Sunday. I'm stumbling along in the 2.8's. It's so addictive, it's unreal that no one in Kelowna wants to try this out. Semi auto .22 and ammo is all thats needed.

im jealous. i haven't had time to even get targets made yet. if only i was closer i would be in for sure! good job getting it together.

Tom E Gun was up today and we laid out and shot "Outer Limits", one of the longer stages with 2 rectangular plates (18"x24") at 35yds, 2-12" rounds at 20yds with the 12" round stop at 18yds. . TEG turned in consistent low 3's with some in the high 2's but he was getting a lot of jams and double feeds. My newly lightened gun was working quite well with only a couple of burbles and I shot a personal best 2.50 second pass and kept most in the mid to high 2's with some ventures into the low 3's. We're still looking for anybody who wants to come and try this game out, the only warning to any prospective shooters being it is really addictive:)

Your groups are too good already, time to try something different.

I have found something different time to stretch the legs on this one!
Seriously I will get out the 1022 and get the cobwebs out of it!
