I would like to get a scope for a model 600 Cooey .22. Should I get a Rimfire scope or would it be better to spend a little more and get a centerfire scope. Something like a Bushnell Banner or trophy or a comparable Tasco?

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated!

My Cooey has the grooves to mount a scope.

The paralax (focus) setting on a rimfire is set to 50yards usually on a centerfire its set to 100-150yards. So if you get a centerfire scope get one with front or side paralax adjustment. Thats what I have on my .22's.

Tasco World Class, 4X16X40 AO
It has a 10 Yard Parallex setting.
Decent scope for a hundred bucks.
There is a photo of it in the rimfire section under post your rimfire's.

To further confuse you they will have AO behind the rest of the name such as Vortex Crossfire 3x9x40AO. AO=Adjustable Objective which means parallax adjustable. Clear as mud?
