Hey guys~if you're anything like me, you probably have more rimfires than you need already :) ....but what guns are on the wish list for 2013? I'm trying to wear the blinders every time I'm near a gun shop, but I was in Bass Pro last night picking-up some more .17M2 ammo, and sitting on the rack was a Savage Mark II FV-SR. @ $299, and being somewhat close to Christmas...it wasn't much of a temptation, but I can see it happening in 2013 sometime. Was thinking about selling-off a rifle to make it happen sooner, but then came to my senses. :)

I have a Cooper 22lr on order. It will be the only Jackson Squirrel Rifle that I know of with an ebony for end.
As well, it will be stocked with one of Propher River's blanks.

I originally was searching for a Remington 40X Sporter Repeater, but they are very difficult to find, and the price is currently running around $5000 or more.

that hk416 .22 pistol is pretty cool, but my collection is small enough that i don't think i can have a 2nd rimfire lol

Sounds awfully nice. I struggle a bit with the quality/quantity question, but do love guns that shoot well no matter what they are. The Savage/Anschutz/Marlin make-up is serving me pretty well. Even the Norincos are shooters. A CZ452 Varmint in .17HMR would be pretty sweet to own again...but my new 17M2 has scratched the 17 itch for a while.

I have my eye on Baikal MP-161K.

I know this next one is not a rimfire but I also want the Medved-3 as a companion to my M305B

I have definitely cut back on quantity,my Anschutz 1907 Repeater, and my Volquartsen, are my last remaining rifles in 22lr, and my Cooper Jackson Hunter in 17mach2 is my last remaining 17 of any kind. My centerfires and target rifles are way down in number as well, but I haven't found a way to get by with less than my five Citori, and one Cynergy shotguns.

I only have 3 ( two 10 22s and a remington nylon 66 )

so I have a long list of what to get.

browning sa 22
lever- henry or bl22
a left handed bolt action - savage or browning t bolt
some more nylon 66 maybe start a collection
22 pistol possibly a smith and wesson 22a

don`t think I will get all these for 2013 maybe one a year.

I have a norinco lever , and the m1 lookalike as well as a done up ruger 10/22, two mossberg tactical one is a flattop, an old cooey ranger , and a Chiappa .22 handgun.

I'd like a Chiappa m9 handgun or the chiappa 1887 revolver. Also it's so much but the chiappa m1 lookalike is a lot better then my norinco one by a mile but twice the price. But it does look so much better

S&W Model 41 with 5.5" barrel that's been on order for over a year now. Hopefully it shows up in 2013 lol.

Over a year? It took me a few phone calls, but I found two within a day when I wanted one a couple of years ago. Bashaw Sports, currently has two used Model 41s on for very good prices.

I'm really enjoying this mach2. I'm thinking if my marlin is shooting this good, I wonder how a CZ would do? I'm at a loss for a new 22lr, there's gotta be something interesting out there though.

22lrguy I love my fv-sr. Im sure you will really enjoy one

Yeah, I'm sure I would... I left part of the story out. I was at the gun counter having them take my PAL info. for the ammo purchase when I spotted it. Of course...had to ask to fondle it. :) I usually don't do that if #1 the store is busy, or #2 I have no intention of buying at that moment. As there was NOBODY else there, and I was feeling like a little pick-me-up purchase...I asked to see it. Very familiar Savage feel to it, but it kind of sealed the decision. I will own one. :)

gonna be a 10/22 with an Archangel target delux stock, bull barrel, trigger work etc, and a nice(ish) optic.

next is gonna be an SR-22 with trigger work, cut and crown, optic and one of those magpul check mark looking fore grips.

next is gonna be a modern looking .22lr pistol, but I haven't decided on what one yet. I wanted the Ruger SR-22 pistol, but it doens't shoot hi velocity ammo. I may get a 1911 clone in .22lr.
