Rinco M14/305 Flash Hider thread size and pitch

Wanted to build a muzzle brake for my rinco. Does any one know off hand what the muzzle thread size is? I understand the gas system threads are metric but have heard the muzzle is imperial. Any help would be appreciated.

you've heard wrong- it's really a metric as well- what has happened is that you can chase a usgi castle nut on there and it's close enough to force the thread into being an usgi- either the nut gives or the barrel, i don't know which
 
I would also like to know the thread pitch for the castle nut that comes with the Norinco M14.

Does anyone know what it is, EXACTLY?
