Ring recommendation for large scope on RPR

ATRS x high is what I'm running on my TT525P, it's really tight like 2 mm between cap and rail. You may want xx high. What scope? Bulter Creek flip up caps?

The new Precision Cantilever extended mount in 34mm from Vortex would work I would think. I have the one with 20MOA for my Razor on a Desert Tech with a tad over 1/4" space between the bell and the rail. You should have a bunch more space on the RPR. They are a very well made mount.

Burris XTR Signature series. Got them on my FTR rifles holding a SVSS (42oz) 10-50X60 scope. Love them.

1.50" tall.

other Burris rings are also possible.

EGW has a 1 1/8" ring set that is great too and will mount my TT .... might be tall enough. I have them here.

Leupold Mk4 steel rings are another option and are built like a tank and weight about as much.

This,

I'm running the same mount minus the extra 20moa on my RPR with a 30mm 50 and would be room to fit a 56 nicely, perfect mount for a flat top and they are very solid and well made as rifleman said.

I'm running a Mark 4 Leupold with a 40mm objective ring. My ARMS #22 rings are medium and I'm almost contacting the forward rail surfaces. :) So the medium height rings work for my 40mm objective. If you are not sure, order rings that are one size higher than you expected and then you at least know that things will fit (even if they are a tad high) for the time being.

And when the budget and / or time allow, you can play with other ring brands and heights!

Hope this helps the RPR Fun!

Anyone try the spuhr mount? I saw one in 30mm, low. I was wondering if that would fit? I do not see why it wouldn't. Scope is an nxs 30mm tube with 56mm objective.

I had a 4002 spuhr for my sb pmii. It was the 1.5" mount, huge gap. The lower one was too tight, probably would have worked. But I wasn't risking a 500$ paper weight.

Not sure why one would need a mount when you have a rail????

I'm referring to their one-piece mount/base that attaches to the rail:

Leupold calls this type of system a "mount" (well, IMS technically, Integral Mounting System), which is subsequently what I've always referred to it as. I have their IMS on my .308. I probably could have been clearer in my reply, so my apologies.

No problemo!

The RPR is heavy enough as it is, I'm going to settle just for rings and at $2-300+ for rings I'd like to get it right first time. I like the lowest ones that will work and work well with a Mercedes Benz $class scope. ( narrowed it down to Kahles vs S&B, and leaning heavily toward K.

56mm objective I assume? I had to go with what I posted above to clear the rails on both my rigs, but that may not be an issue on the RPR. I was originally going to do the Leupold Mark 8 or S&B, but was talked into the Gen II Razor, which I've been quite happy with. It was still north of 4K, but not quite as dear as the S&B would have been. The Leupold was more money than both of them by a wide margin.
