Hey guys... 4 years ago, I bought a nice rifle (700LSS in WSM) without giving too much attention on optic, base and rings. I was on a budget. So now, i'll take off my Nikon Prostaff for a new scope and I want some nice rings and base.
I want a 0 MOA picatinny rail and 30mm rings. Usualy I always go with brands that I know. So I checked with Weaver (prices are nice). While shopping and surfing, I found some bases from EWG and rings from Vortex and then I checked with Trijicon, which are the most expensive (150usd for the rings set and 110usd for a picatinny rail).
Is there a so great gap in quality between these brands? Weaver seems to be cheap about picatinny rail. Rings prices compare easily with Vortex and EWG have bases from 40usd to 100usd. What should I look for?
