I recently bought a Tikka T3 300wsm, i bought a sightron big sky with a 50mm objective, what rings and bases should i be going with? Also the gun is camo/stainless and the scope is matte black, what colour rings/bases should i go with to look the best? Thanks in advanced

I find using the same color rings as your scope look the best, so in your case I would go with matte black rings and bases.

I use matte black Leupold rings and bases on my stainless Tikka T3 hunter.

Talley Light-Weight combination mounts are an excellent and very popular choice:

With a 50mm objective, a medium will typically result in a very satisfactory eye placement and spacing between the objective and the barrel.

We virtually all of their mounts in stock, and our price on the combination mounts is $59.99 +tax/shipping.

The warne permanent attach rings are very solid, too, though quite a bit heavier. You'll need "high" for a 50mm. The added weight might be welcome for the magnum.

I use talley on 2 of my 3 Tikkas.

Another vote for talleys. Dont quote me for sure but I don't think you will need high rings for that scope. I have a Sightron SII big sky 3-12x42 on my T3 sitting in Talley lows. I still have room for butler creek caps as well.
