I have purchased a cheep set of rings for my 94/22 mag. After hours or trying to get it to zero, I noticed that the ring appear to be slightly of center to the right. Assuming this is the major issue with my accuracy, what rings should I purchase? Or what other problem am I having?

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

I've had a set of Burris tip-off rings on my 9422M for a couple of years now. I like them because they are steel and attach with a single cross-bolt. This makes it a lot easier to take the scope off and have it return somewhat close to zero. The Millet rings are OK, but the windage adjustments in the base makes it a bit harder to re-zero unless you loc-tite one of the screws down and only adjust the other one. I could never remember which one I wasn't supposed to touch :(

BTW, I highly recommend the new Leupold VX 2-7X rimfire scope. It's light and compact, has a fine duplex reticle, and fits well on the 9422.
