Just bought a new Ruger RPR in 6.5 Creedmoor and I have a spare Bushnell 4200 Elite tactical 6-24x50 ....does anyone know how high or which rings will work with this combo?

Hey hawk-i,

From what I've seen, the higher the rings, the better with the RPR. I would try to find some that are around the 1.4" height and that should give you the clearance for the picatinny rail. If you have any other questions, our phones are on every day of the week, so please feel free to give us a call if you would like to chat about options that would work best.

I just put the Vortex precision rings on my RPR to support the Burris Veracity 4-20x50. The ring height was 1.26" (32mm). Worked out perfectly for me as with the lens cap I still had a few millimeters of clearance. I wanted to keep it as close as possible to the bore axis as possible. 1.4" is more than enough for any 50mm objective lens diameter.

Thanks guys, when youre measuring the ring height are you going from the top of the rail with the ring sitting in the rail to the bottom of where the scope would sit or the ring just sitting on a bench to the scope base?

Here's exactly what you need.

I used a set of high rings and a Leupold spacer on mine. Works good and is very solid.
Another option is the Burris P.E.P.R. cantilever mount. I have those on all my AR's. They are made for Piccatinny rail fitment and give the proper amount of eye relief.

Here is the link for the Leupold spacer: https://www.leupold.com/hunting-sho...nting-systems/mark-1-ims-integral-rail-mount/
