Rings for Brno ZKK rifle?

Warne industries, Millet, Leupold etc. i own two BRNO (601,602) they both have Warne QD rings. I would like to change the rings on the 601 as i can never get them to line up before i run out of adjustment on the scope.
I would love some tips here if anybody has run into this before.
the rifle was originally chambered 223 rem. But is now a 22-250rem. this particular rifle has been finicky from the get-go with feeding issues and scope alignment in 223 to minor feed issues and scope alignment in 22-250.

A friend has offered me a ZKK without rings. They have a milled receiver to take the scope rings I understand.

the BRNO 600 series are a square bridge Mauser with integral dovetail for scope mounting.
there is a slot milled for the rear mount that is probably unnecessary for all but the heavy recoiling cartridges. the dovetail is too wide to accept normal weaver rings and the angle is different for a comfortable fit anyway.
beware of low mount rings for these rifles.
i am told that any ring designed for the CZ550 will work on the BRNO as they are the same manufacturer.
someone please correct me if i am in error here.

hmm - out of the many dozens of brno rifles I have scoped - I have had none that require Millet type windage adjustable.

Yes the 550 is the same as the 600 series (and ZG and 21/22 series) - they are all designated as 19 mm dovetail.

I have used Warne, Warne QD, CZ, BRNO, Leupold, ..... those Australian ones, one piece, 2 piece,... they all did not require any fiddling with windage.

But - anything is possible with a re-chamber. Perhaps - look at the Burris (if they still make the 19mm, and se if they have rings with the plastic shims. I find those to be more effective then the Millets.

I tend to prefer the 4 screw BRNO/CZ mounts myself. Although I use the warne non-detachable on my 602 30-378 and they work very well.

Warne or Millet - Brownells in USA likley the best place that will have the proper in stock

Warne - Western Gunparts in Edmonton - they may have the others as well ---

BRNO/CZ - TEC Trade Ex - see Logo above for their site

this may be beyond my skill level.
it could be that i have a bad or mismatched set of rings.
i think i will just have to take it to a smith to see.
i have had the rifle zero'd before, but there was very little room to adjust should i change load. i thought it was the scope but it does this with any scope.
