Rings for CZ 557 ranger

Hi all,
Just bought a cz557 ranger, I want to put quick release rings utilizing the piccatini rail that comes on it.
I want to have the scope as low as possible so I'm thinking low rings but I know some cz's bolts won't clear the scope if your using low rings (ie: cz527m).
Anyone have experience with mounting optics on the 557 ranger?

Old thread but I see you have no replies... My friend just bought this rifle then an optic from another store. The store that sold the optic called CZ to see the appropriate rings and or base for the particular scope and that rifle. If still wanted, I can let you know which ones when he gets the package.

Nice rifle by the way... I read the articles on them and it seems very interesting as this particular model came out of the competition to create a new rifle for the Canadian Rangers. I look forward to putting my hands on it...

Do you have the optic you want to use? If so, you could try placing it on the rail and using some sort of spacer (modelling clay?) to position it as low as possible with the bolt still clearing. Then you could measure the spacing between the rail and the bottom of the scope...that'd be your desired mount height.
