Rings for Marlin 60SN scope?

Just letting you guys know that the front ring on my scope would not fit the dovetail. It was delivered hanging onto the gun with one ring. Not impressed.

The ring will not fit (it isn't wide enough for the dovetail and I don't wanna force it). Where can I get a replacement ring for the stock 4x20mm scope?

Would a few rubs on the ring with a file help? Contact marlin and they may send you a new one. If the scope has a 1" tube, you can get Tasco rings from Cabelas for 8.99. If u are handy to a gun shop u could get some there. Wal-mart or C-Tire maybe?
